TOP 6 QUESTIONS WE HEAR FROM PATIENTS
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most health insurance plans. Your medical plan is used when Dr. Lang treats the eye for medical conditions. Glasses and contacts are usually covered through the vision plan. All insurance coverage is different—your plan may not cover everything. Please refer to your provider. We do not participate with Vision Plans or Medicaid.
Where are you located?
Our eye clinic is in downtown Punta Gorda; on the corner of 41 North and Olympia. Parking is accessible from either street.
How much does an eye exam cost?
Dr. Lang is an Optometric Physician and provides a very comprehensive eye exam, reviewing all of the eye components and testing as needed. Our routine exams begin at $115. These are usually when glasses are being considered. Please call our office to speak with our knowledgeable staff about your specific eye needs.
When can I get an appointment?
Appointments can be scheduled as early as 9:00AM and as late as 4:00PM. We can usually schedule you within 7-10 days. New patient eye exams take about 90 minutes and may take a little longer if we perform any diagnostic testing.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash and checks. CareCredit can be used for glasses or contacts but not for copays or deductibles. CareCredit financing is interest free for 6 months.
Does Dr. Lang do surgery?
Dr. Lang does not do surgery, but works closely with our local surgeons. We see patients before procedures to do the pre-operative testing and documentation and then after surgery to monitor the progress of each patient. This allows patients to enjoy the convenience of our office while recovering from surgery. Our eye clinic helps patients to schedule the surgery consults and the post appointments.
